Shipping & Insurance
Shipping & Insurance
Huiliu-Global supports insured international shipping for authenticated luxury assets, including jadeite, jewelry, gemstones, pearls, watches, and other high-value collectibles.
Because many items on our platform are one-of-one pre-owned or consigned assets, shipping is handled with additional care. Final delivery timing, duties, and shipping charges may vary depending on destination, declared value, carrier availability, customs review, and item handling requirements.
How shipping works
1. Duties and import taxes are estimated first
Where available, duties and import taxes are estimated at checkout through Zonos. This helps buyers understand the expected landed cost before the order is completed.
Import duties, taxes, brokerage charges, and customs fees are determined by the destination country or region. These charges are not set by Huiliu-Global and may be adjusted by customs authorities.
2. FedEx shipping quotation
After duties and import-tax handling are calculated, shipping is quoted through FedEx based on destination, package weight, declared value, and service availability.
High-value shipments may require additional handling, insurance, signature confirmation, or delivery restrictions.
3. Individual shipping or consolidated shipping
Buyers may have the option to ship items individually or consolidate eligible items into one shipment.
Consolidated shipping may be available with a fixed handling option of $50, where applicable. Consolidation depends on item size, value, timing, customs requirements, and warehouse handling approval.
4. Packing and label creation
After checkout, the shipping label is generated through the connected FedEx account. Items are packed by our handling team before dispatch.
For high-value items, additional packing procedures may be used, including protective packaging, double-boxing, photo documentation, and signature-based handoff where appropriate.
Insurance and declared value
Insurance may be required or recommended for high-value shipments.
The declared value must match the transaction record and supporting commercial invoice. Huiliu-Global does not support undervaluing shipments for customs purposes.
If additional insurance or special carrier handling is required, our team may contact the buyer before shipment is released.
Signature and delivery requirements
Depending on destination, carrier rules, and item value, shipments may require direct signature, adult signature, delivery appointment or delivery-area review, address confirmation, or additional carrier surcharge for remote or residential locations.
If a shipping address appears incomplete, restricted, or unsuitable for high-value delivery, we may request confirmation before dispatch.
Customs documentation
International shipments may require a commercial invoice, air waybill, accurate declared value, product category or HS code, and destination contact information.
Customs authorities may request additional information. Delays caused by customs review are outside Huiliu-Global’s direct control.
Important restrictions
Some destinations, carrier routes, or item categories may be restricted. Carrier labels, consignee names, and address details must follow shipping and customs requirements.
If an order cannot be shipped safely or compliantly to the destination provided, Huiliu-Global may contact the buyer to arrange an alternative solution or cancel the transaction.
Before placing an order
If you are purchasing a high-value item, bidding in an auction, or arranging international delivery, we recommend contacting us before checkout if you have questions about insurance, import duties and taxes, consolidated shipping, delivery timing, signature requirements, or customs documentation.
Our goal is to make every transaction clear, protected, and properly documented from checkout to delivery.
